Who We Are
Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Baton Rouge (CCCS of Baton Rouge) is a nationwide non-profit community service organization dedicated to assisting consumers in financial difficulty. Our programs help clients repay their debts at the lowest cost and in the shortest time possible.

For the past 38 years we have successfully helped hundreds of thousands of individuals in Louisiana just like you reach their financial goals. Credentials
We are one of the largest members of the National Foundation of Credit Counseling, the oldest and largest credit counseling association. To ensure our services meet certain standards, NFCC members are accredited through the Council on Accreditation for Children and Family Services. Our services are provided by counselors certified through the oldest and largest credit certification programs.
Proven Results
Over 90% of clients that complete our debt management program never need our services again. In addition, the counseling techniques used by our organization have been found, according to a 2002 Georgetown University study to “positively affect the credit use and payment behavior of people counseled.”
